Durable medical equipment
Hands-on with walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, gait belts, lifts, and bathroom safety gear — so aides set up and use every device correctly.
Viridian Firm trains your caregivers on the transfers, lifting, and equipment that cause the most injuries and turnover — taught in person by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Built to satisfy the required 12-hour annual in-service — so your compliance comes handled and survey-ready along the way.
Four quarterly half-days cover all 12 required hours — weighted toward the hands-on transfer and lifting skills that actually prevent injuries. Compliance, handled as a byproduct of better training.
A licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy leads every session — body mechanics done right.
Fewer strained backs and fewer incident reports mean lower workers’ comp costs and caregivers who stay.
Rosters, objectives, and proof of hours, mapped to Arkansas's required topics.
Twelve in-service hours built around the three things aides do every shift — and the three things that get them and your clients hurt when done wrong. Online modules check a box. We build the skills.
Hands-on with walkers, wheelchairs, hospital beds, gait belts, lifts, and bathroom safety gear — so aides set up and use every device correctly.
The body mechanics that keep aides off the injured list — protecting your team from the back and shoulder injuries that drive turnover and comp claims.
Practiced techniques for bed-to-chair, chair-to-toilet, and floor-recovery transfers — with and without equipment, for every mobility level.
Mapped to the Arkansas required training topics so your in-service plan lines up with what surveyors look for.
Four additional hours for agencies operating in states with stricter requirements (e.g., DC, Illinois, Florida) — a 16-hour program that travels with your brand.
A caregiver retention, injury-prevention, and workforce-development partner for non-skilled home care agencies — plus education for families and community groups. Taught in person by a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Not ready for the annual program? Book a single session — the easiest way to see us before committing.
Get new caregivers safe on transfers, body mechanics, and equipment before their first shift. Two ways to run it — share a room and pay per person, or have us all to yourself.
A monthly cohort at our training space. Send new hires as you bring them on — several agencies share the room, so it's the best price and zero travel.
We run the cohort at your office for your hires only — you're buying the whole session, so it's priced per session, not per head.

Arkansas requires every aide to complete 12 hours of in-service a year, addressing areas tied directly to client care. Viridian Firm delivers those 12 hours as an outside provider — we build the program to that standard and hand you the proof.
The 12-hour in-service is taught in person by a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy and documented to the standard the rule calls for — areas tied directly to client care, with the hands-on skills that prevent injuries.
Every session comes with the documentation a surveyor expects to see, ready to drop into each employee file:
We tailor the program to your agency's in-service plan and current Arkansas Department of Health requirements.
Headcount, locations, and whether you want monthly or quarterly visits.
We set a cadence that fits your shifts and come to you — cohorts sized to your team.
Hands-on instruction with real equipment, led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
Certificates, rosters, and the survey packet land in your hands, ready for each employee file.
Nearly every way an aide or a client gets hurt — a bad lift, a missed transfer, a fall, a pressure injury from poor positioning — is a movement problem. Physical therapists are doctoral-trained, licensed specialists in exactly that: safe patient handling, transfer and gait training, fall-risk reduction, positioning, and matching the right equipment to the right body. Caregiver education isn't adjacent to PT practice — it's squarely inside it.
Dr. Redden earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy at New York University and has spent 13 years specializing in musculoskeletal injury and transfer training. Before she was a therapist, she was a Certified Nursing Assistant and phlebotomist — she has done the job your aides do, and teaches like someone who remembers what a double shift feels like.
She has served as an adjunct instructor in Howard University's Doctor of Physical Therapy program, trained in wound care at Beth Israel Hospital, practiced vestibular physical therapy in an Ear, Nose and Throat office treating positional vertigo and other balance pathologies, and is a certified first responder. Her additional credentials include Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, certification in dry needling, and orthopedic manual therapy certification. Every Viridian Firm session is taught by her personally — never outsourced, never pre-recorded.
The core of your 12 hours — lifting mechanics, transfer technique, injury prevention — taught by a specialist who treats these injuries when they happen.
She's been on your aides' side of the bed. Training lands differently when the instructor has done the work — not just studied it.
Years treating dizziness and balance disorders in an Ear, Nose and Throat practice inform the fall-prevention hours — because many falls start with a balance problem nobody caught.
Hospital wound-care training underpins the skin integrity, positioning, and pressure-injury prevention module your aides receive.
She has taught movement science to doctoral students. Your aides get the same instructor, translated to the bedside.
Emergency preparedness and recognizing decline are taught by someone certified to respond when things go wrong — not just lecture about it.
